📣Im teaching a class this summer! 5 day Potter’s Wheel Intensive! Aimed to approach your pottery practice with a wholistic view. To consider your pottery as a vessel and a frame. Wheel classes will focus on surface and consideration for composition. We will be throwing with the aim to decorate, incorporating Mishima, scrafido and carving into our greenware, we will even get a glaze fire in and have a swap dive into dipping glazes and their properties. For intermediate potters near and far, spend time in downtown Nanaimo at our studio space where each day will include demonstrations, practice time and critiques. From throwing large, altered forms, to attachments and glazing and painting techniques, this well rounded course will move you ahead in your ceramic journey. 📲link in bio

Those travelling from out of town, we are located in the downtown area close to hotels and short term airbnb accommodations as well as shopping centres and restaurants. We are minutes away from Hullo Ferries and about 40 minutes from the YCD airport.

I studied at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University and in 2008 graduated with a major in Ceramics and a minor in Art History. I studied drawing and painting and incorporates both into my work. I have been a full time potter since 2012
